2008 Silver Communicator Award of Distinction – Radio Broadcast competition – Arts/Cultural – “Day of the Dead: Celebrating Life and Death: Nations and Cultures.” The Communicator Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding work in the communications field. Entries are judged by industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

2007 Gabriel Award, Spanish-language – Radio, Documentary – National or Local Radio Release – "Día de los Muertos: Celebrando la Vida y la Muerte: Naciones y Culturas" ("Day of the Dead: Celebrating Life and Death: Nations and Cultures"). The Gabriel Awards recognize outstanding artistic achievement in television and radio programs that entertain and enrich audiences with content that respects and uplifts the spirit and dignity of human beings. These awards are sought by producers and broadcasters throughout the U.S. and Canada, including the major TV and radio networks. Gabriel Awards are presented by the Catholic Academy for Communication Arts Professionals, a national association of Catholic broadcasters, producers and syndicators of radio, TV and film and communications and public relations specialists.

2007 New York Festivals Bronze World Medal – Radio Broadcasting, Profiles/Community Portraits – "Día de los Muertos: Celebrando la Vida y la Muerte: Naciones y Culturas." For more than 50 years, the New York Festivals has honored excellence in creative communication, work that has touched the hearts and minds of readers, listeners and viewers worldwide.

NY Fest Bronze Medal 2004 The New York Festivals Bronze World Medal, Radio Programming & Promotion, Best Regularly Scheduled Drama Program – Rosalba.

2004 MarCom Creative Awards Gold Finalist, Radio/PSA, for Tesoros Escondidos (Hidden Treasures) from among 3,344 entries worldwide. The entries are judged by industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

2003 The Communicator Crystal Award of Excellence for Rosalba

2003 The National Hispanic Media Coalition Impact Award for "Excellence in Radio Programming." NHMC is a coalition of Hispanic-American organizations that seeks to improve the employment and image of American Latinos in radio, television, film and print media. Former recipients in various categories include director James Cameron and actors Hector Elizondo and Lupe Ontiveros.

2003 National American Scene Awards for Rosalba and for Atorados from The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). This marked the first time in the American Scene Awards' 16-year history that Spanish-language radio programs have won. These awards recognize excellence in the employment and portrayal of minorities in programming, recordings and news media.

2003 Gabriel Award, Spanish Language, Radio, Community Awareness/PSA, National Release, for Rosca de Reyes with Hector Bonilla.

2003 Gabriel Award, Spanish Language, Arts/Entertainment, National Radio Release, for Rosalba, a drama about a maid who helps save the life of a young medical student after a horrible accident and how this impacts their lives.

2003 Gabriel Certificate of Merit, Spanish Language, Arts/Entertainment, National Radio Release, for Una Noche de Oscuridad (One Night of Darkness), a drama about a sister who rushes to death row to seek the forgiveness of her brother before he is executed.

Golden Eagle 2002 Golden Eagle Award for Excellence in Spanish Radio Programming for its 20-episode anthology Historias para Mejorar el Mundo, from Nosotros, an organization founded by Ricardo Montalbán in 1970 to improve the image of Latinos in the entertainment industry.

2002 Gabriel Award, Spanish Language, Arts/Entertainment, Radio, National Release, for Viejos los Cerros (Young at Heart)

2002 Gabriel Certificate of Merit, Spanish Language, Arts/Entertainment, Radio, National Release for La Fábula del Hombre Que lo Sabía Todo (The Fable of the Man Who Knew It All).

2000 Gabriel Award, Spanish Language Entertainment, Radio, National Release, for El Mejor (The Best), about "Our Lady of Guadalupe"

1998 Gabriel Award, Spanish-Language, News/Informational, Radio, National Release, for Conversando (Conversing).

1998 Gabriel Award, Arts/Entertainment, Radio, National Release, for La Historia de Quien Soy (The Story of Who I Am).
